The Mountain Flower. Words cannot described how much I love this sweater.  Designed by me and named after a the stunning mountain wildflower season we enjoy in Idaho. 
 
This sweater is hand knit with bulky merino wool, which means that it is buttery soft and insulating. The yarn is sourced from South America and hand dyed. 
 
The color of this sweater is a beautiful periwinkle purple with chestnut brown centers of the flowers.
 
I knit this sweater while on a road trip to the California coast. This sweater is infused with ocean breezes, miles of highway from Idaho to California, and memories of camping with our two little girls. Plus, I finished it on my birthday, so that is pretty special. 
 
This sweater is sized as a small, but the beauty of hand knit items is the stitches will settle to whatever size you need it to be. The fit is slightly cropped with long sleeves. Also note that when putting the sweater on, there are yarn floats from the colorwork, so be careful to not snag them with your finger or any jewelry. This unique, one of a kind sweater is one that I hate to part with, but I hope finds a good home with a fellow wildflower lover.
